Alpha-Casozepine
- A natural ingredient that may promote calm behaviour in dogs exposed to stressful scenarios
- Recommended by veterinarians and behaviourists
- Can be sprinkled and mixed into dog food
- Not a sedative
How does it work?
Alpha-Casozepine can bind to the GABA-A neurotransmitter receptor in animal brains, promoting a calming response in the nervous system. This effect was first tested in rats, and is now believed to be present in a variety of animals including dogs, horses, cats and even people!
CSIRO Australia
Our production of hydrolysed casein (containing Alpha-Casozepine) was made possible through the CSIRO Australia Kick-Start program.
