What kind of dog training goes best with AC for Dogs™?
Always use positive-reinforcement based training in conjunction with AC for Dogs™. Never use punishment, pain, fear, yelling or intimidation-based training techniques.
What about dogs with serious behavioural problems?
Dogs that are highly challenging may require referral to a behaviour veterinarian. All good dog trainers and veterinarians can refer you to a behaviour veterinarian. If yours can't, then find one that can.
Why is AC for Dogs™ so reasonably priced?
We have developed a cost effective method of producing AC for Dogs™ without sacrificing quality. Our production of hydrolysed casein (containing Alpha-Casozepine) was made possible through the CSIRO Australia Kick-Start program.

How does AC for Dogs™ work?
AC for Dogs™ contains Alpha-Casozepine, which provides nutritional support to help maintain calm behaviour in dogs. For more information on the science behind Alpha-Casozepine, check out our research page here.
How long does it take to start working?
Most people notice effects within 2-4 days of starting. However, please read the point below on assessing effectiveness.
Assessing effectiveness - How do I know it's working?
- When Alpha-Casozepine is working, you can expect your dog might display calm behaviour more regularly and for longer periods.
- Calm behaviours can include time spent resting, sniffing, relaxing or cuddling with you.
- Remember to continue to avoid triggers as recommended by your trainer or behaviourist.
Packed scoops - How to accurately measure AC for Dogs™
- For accurate dosing, each scoop of AC for Dogs™ should be compacted to ensure it contains a full 450mg dose.
- Measure a packed scoop by simply pushing your heaped scoop into the inside of the container 3 times before levelling it off.
Unpacked scoops - How to give part of a scoop accurately
- For dosing fractions of a scoop, it's difficult to use packed scoops. In this case, you can use 1 unpacked scoop per 10kg.
- This means fill the scoop half way for a 5kg dog, or fill the scoop without packing it for a 10kg dog.
- To measure an unpacked scoop, gently tap it against the side of the jar to even out the powder.
- Please note that this method has more variation in dose, so for larger dogs, we recommend using packed scoops for accurate dosing.
Packed scoop vs. unpacked scoops - what's the deal?
- Packed scoops are to be dosed at 1 per 15kg. They are the most accurate, and should be used for larger dogs weighing 15kg or over.
- Unpacked scoops are dosed at 1 per 10kg. They are a bit less accurate, but allow you to easily measure out a fraction of a scoop.
- For a 20kg dog, you could give 1 packed scoop (15kg dose) and half of an unpacked scoop (5kg dose). 15kg + 5kg = 20kg
